Entertainment Coordinator (Full-Time Position)
Job Purpose:
The Entertainment Coordinator will provide administrative support to the President & Director of Development as well as contribute to reading, checking avails and updating grids. We're a small, collaborative team and our coordinator will interface with everyone on a daily basis.
Essential Responsibilities:
--General administrative duties including: answering phones, scheduling and calendars, filing and submitting expense reports, planning travel arrangements, overseeing office management tasks and shipping via FedEx and UPS, performing other related duties as required by management
--Reading and analyzing incoming scripts, books and articles
--Writing coverages, synopses and summaries
--Drafting submission letters
--Checking availabilities on writers, directors and actors
--Updating grids in Google Sheets
--Coordinating our internship program
Basic Qualifications:
--Bachelor's degree or 1 year(s) of work administrative experience
--1 year(s) of experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Eligibility Requirements:
--Must be authorized to work in the United States
--Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered.
--Must be willing to work both in person (including production office, home office of the President, writers' room, editing, etc.) and remotely when asked.
--Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment.
--Must be willing to adhere to all of the company's COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.
--Minimum of one year commitment required.
Desired Characteristics:
--1 year(s) in an administrative capacity at an agency or management company
--Working knowledge of the Film/TV space
--Passionate about Film and TV development and production
--Extremely organized, detail-oriented and a great multi-tasker
--A positive ''can-do'' attitude with a calm demeanor
--Strong communication and problem-solving skills are a must
