Freelance Editor / Director

Editor/Director, Confidential Company, Brand Experiences Team
We are looking for a content creator with extensive film and editing experience to be part of a production team that delivers quality content.
As a hardworking member of the team, you will be part of the vital support of the day to day editing and delivery of content for multiple territories. We are seeking a collaborative spirit and passion to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations is essential.
Key Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of experience in directing and editing for film, television and/or entertainment brands, with a focus on music and interview content. Multi-cam performance experience, a plus.
• Broad experience with various content capture approaches, including Multi- camera Production, b-roll, and social directives.
• Technical oversight of in-studio video equipment including lighting and cameras.
• Experience in editing interview content, b-roll and creative storytelling using interview and archival footage
• Extraordinary attention to detail while still working under tight deadlines
• Skilled in handling multiple, complex, concurrent projects
• Demonstrable experience with A-level talent
• Collaborative, resourceful, adaptable, creative, and results oriented with high energy and a positive attitude. -
• Support global production team end-to-end, from filming and editing day to day content- including but not limited to:
• Physical production and creative execution of editorial and social marketing assets
• Editing content on tight timelines, amongst multiple projects on plate.
• Technical Development and future-proof our ways of working in studios and on location
• Ensure all project deliverables have been quality controlled and delivered to highest standard, including attention to detail to the many different exports and aspect ratios
• Bring your passion for music and culture to the business
• Be well versed and up to date with external content, cultural moments and current events, helping to ensure the team remains connected to International culture and entertainment trends.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• You are proficient in Premier, Final Cut Pro, Keynote and intermediate knowledge of After Effects/motion graphics and how to apply motion design assets to video
COMPENSATION:
$360 per day/$1800 per week
This role is freelance and part time to start, but there may be opportunity for the right candidate to move to full-time.
