**WHILE A REMOTE POSITION, PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES LOCATED IN FILMMAKING HUBS
We are seeking a Director of Sales to lead and scale our sales efforts for our B2B SaaS product. Our software targets film distributors, production companies, sales agents, studios, and entertainment companies who are seeking a secure film distribution solution. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving revenue growth for our new software: ScreenKey.
This role is perfect for a sales leader with deep industry connections in film and TV distribution who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment with experience in B2B SaaS sales.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and execute sales strategies to drive adoption of ScreenKey among film distributors, studios, and sales agents.
-Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, with a focus on enterprise-level partnerships.
-Leverage industry relationships to accelerate growth, identifying and engaging key stakeholders in film distribution and secure streaming.
-Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and leadership teams to refine positioning and go-to-market strategies.
-Represent ScreenKey at industry events, film markets, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and drive sales.
-Track and report sales performance, using data-driven insights to refine strategy and optimize results.
Who You Are:
-5+ years of experience in entertainment tech sales, or SaaS sales within the media industry.
The Ideal(est) Candidates Have:
-Deep network within film studios, distributors, sales agencies, and content security teams.
-Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience closing high-value enterprise deals.
-Strong understanding of film distribution workflows, digital rights management (DRM), and content security challenges.
-Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
-Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, startup environment, wearing multiple hats as needed.
-Willingness to get your hands dirty, whether that's by engineering a high-converting sales funnel or building out a CRM
