Director of Production
Busy Production office looking for a Director of Production to oversee and manage large and small in-house and/or 3rd party productions. Candidate must have proven track record of handling multiple productions at once in a demanding face-paced environment.
- Create and manage budgets while collaborating with Creative Producers.
- Hires, negotiates and defines rates and working perimeters to freelancers and employees.
- Negotiate all production contracts.
- Oversee and mentor production staff. Provide training and feedback.
- Partner with post production supervisor, ensure projects are on budget.
- Work closely with partners: Business and Legal Affairs, Accounting, HR, Clearances.
- Extensive knowledge of electronic film making.
- Ensure agreements, contracts and releases are created and executed.
- Responsible for day-to-day supervision of production staff.
Minimum of 5 years of Line Producing experience / 10 years production experience
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Professional, self-motivated, team player
Strong written and verbal communication skills
