Seeking a Director of Photography for a scripted vertical series shooting in Los Angeles. This is a COMEDY microdrama
We are looking for a small camera footprint that allows us to move quickly through scripted coverage while maintaining a polished, consistent visual style.
We're looking for a DP with a strong visual eye, solid composition and the ability to work quickly and collaboratively with our director. You should be comfortable making cinematography decisions, maintaining visual continuity, and adapting quickly as we move between setups.
Experience shooting scripted narrative is valuable, but we are interested in DPs who have prior VERTICAL 9:16 experience.
You should have a camera and lighting package and be comfortable acting as a camera op for this 2 camera shoot.
CAMERA SETUP - ideally
2 cameras something like FX-3
Gimbal/stabilizer that you are experienced operating
Sufficient battery/power for a full production day
Sufficient storage for a full production day
Reliable wireless director-monitoring solution allowing the director to see the camera feed while you operate
Any necessary mounts/adapters/cables required for your setup to operate reliably

Job Starts mid to late September for a 3 day shoot and 5 days of post
Salary/Benefits
This is an unpaid position but you will receive credit and footage for your reel. If you are a good fit then the subsequent episode will be paid at standard rates.
