Director Of Finance

Are you a financial professional with a passion for music and culture? Absolute Merch, a full-service music merchandise company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting and Financial Director to oversee our financial and business operations.

Responsibilities:
Oversee all accounting and financial operations for Absolute Merch
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting
Prepare quarterly royalty statements for e-commerce and managed tour clients
Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws
Collaborate with management and other departments to develop and implement business strategies
Create and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
Provide financial analysis and support to management for decision making
Manage and develop a team of accounting and business operations staff
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
Maintain and build relationships with key vendors and suppliers in the apparel industry

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of accounting and management experience, with a staff accountant level of accounting skill and knowledge of controller type duties preferred
Experience or working knowledge of the apparel industry
Strong leadership and management skills
Passion for music and culture
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
CPA or MBA a plus
Proficient in Acumatica or other ERP Systems
Strong knowledge of Shopify

This position is an in-office role at our headquarters in Santa Ana, California. However, there is flexibility to work from home or remotely on occasion.
