Director of Development (TV/Streaming/Film)
Euramco Pictures is looking for a Director of Development. We have a large slate of film/TV series at various stages of development and pre-production. Our content promotes a progressive society - one that empowers social and ethnic minorities, women, the LGBTQ community and highlights key social issues such as environmental conservation, homelessness/poverty, unity between different cultures and much more. The ideal candidate will have the same passion for story-telling and communicating these values within our films/series. Parameters of the position are flexible, will have freedom and the opportunity to choose your own hours.
-Plenty of experience (5-10 years) working in development, producing or a similar position.
-A network of industry connections to agencies/studios/executives/crew/talent and any other industry professionals.
-The ability to schedule pitch meetings with major networks/streaming companies and present the material.
-Samples of the content you have created/worked on in the past and have been produced.
-Contact/communicate with actors, writers, directors, producers, etc.
-Schedule and direct pitch meetings with studios, executives, and other professionals/Oversee the creation of pitch material.
-Constantly be communicating with agencies/studios/networks.
-Research locations and coordinate shooting.
-Create schedules & budgets.
-Research ideas for story/character development
-Oversee the completion of our catalogue of films/TV series currently in development.
-Create new projects with an eye towards streaming content.
-Develop strategies for content on social media.
