DI Sales/Business Development has a daily DI sales focus for growing business and relationships for the Digital Intermediate division. Working alongside the Head of Production, the DI Sales responsibility is for selling DI services as well as interfacing with clients to provide budgetary data and any/all services that any film and client may require. Knowledge and experience in VR technologies and monetization is a plus.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for selling DI services, growing and maintaining client relationships and providing regular sales reports to senior management
• Alongside DI Producers, making sure that all client orders/budgets and deliverables are accounted for, approved and have matching P.O.'s from our clients
• Create estimates and maintain an accurate running list of all services on each individual project so that we are always current with client requests and our obligations
• Manage client expectations and maintain a very high level of client satisfaction
• Strategic Planning - In order to maintain and grow our client base, the DI sales should stay current on new technologies and techniques to better meet current needs and to anticipate future business needs of clients
• Update CRM so that we can continue growing our client base and also keep track of existing clients, potential clients, their projects, deliverables and budgets
• Ensure that the company brand is always recognized as one of high quality and known for excellent customer service across the board
• Any other duties as required and discussed with the Head of Production
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
• Minimum 5 years of Post Production sales and producing experience working in a fast paced environment; advanced technical proficiency is preferred
• Undergraduate degree in TV production, broadcasting, engineering or business preferred
• Must have a proven record of establishing/maintaining client relationships that has lead to new and repeat business
• Should have a working knowledge of offline and online systems, such as Avid and final cut, Nucoda and SGO Mistika. Also a solid knowledge of all DI and broadcast deliverables including but not limited to DCP, HD formats (tape and file) and film out
• Must have both broad and specific knowledge of the many tools and software used in production, post and VR
• Must have skills of working with Google applications, Microsoft Office, budgeting software, scheduling software and Mac operating systems
• Should have experience building, tracking, and maintaining post schedules and budgets
• Excellent English verbal and written communications required
• Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of management, production, and technical staff
• Operate with unquestionable integrity, possess a strong sense of personal responsibility, enthusiasm, and an upbeat and positive attitude.
