DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, FILM/TV
Production company seeking a film/tv development manager. Must be experienced with very strong relationships globally in film, tv, streaming. Looking for someone extremely passionate who wants to grow with a company. Position has the potential to be attached to films that move forward with fees and bonuses additional to salary.
DUTIES:
Sourcing and developing original film and TV scripts/series
Packaging projects
Pitching to production companies, networks, studios
Keeping on top of everything film, following the trades and watching trends, etc.
Requirements:
Have great relationships with writers, agents, producers, buyers and if relationships don't exist have the ability to create them.
Be extremely organized.
Be aggressive but not to an annoying degree.
Understand the marketplace.
Proficient in google docs, dropbox, word, excel.
