We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Development & Distribution Coordinator to support the development of both scripted and unscripted projects. This role will be integral in managing research, tracking projects, coordinating materials, and assisting with preparing deliverables for distribution. The ideal candidate is passionate about true crime storytelling, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Primary Development Responsibilities:
-Schedule and coordinate calls, meetings, and project deadlines for the development team.
-Assist in the research, development, and tracking of scripted and unscripted projects.
-Prepare pitch decks, project summaries, and research materials for internal and external meetings.
-Track trends, talent, and competitive content to identify new opportunities.
-Maintain development schedules and deadlines to ensure timely execution of projects.
-Act as a liaison between internal teams, production partners, and external vendors.
-Schedule and coordinate meetings, notes sessions, and events.
-Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, notes, and action items.
Primary Distribution Responsibilities:
-Assist in preparing deliverables for distribution, ensuring all materials meet network, studio, and platform specifications.
-Coordinate with post-production team to ensure timely delivery of assets.
-Organize and manage all project-related files and development materials.
Qualifications & Requirements:
-1-2 years of experience in film, television, or digital media development.
-Strong writing, research, and organizational skills.
-Knowledge of the scripted and unscripted development process.
-Familiarity with entertainment industry trends, talent, and distribution platforms.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and design software (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) a plus.
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Passion for storytelling in both scripted and unscripted formats.
