Busy production company seeks Development Coordinator. Duties include (but are not limited to) script reading, working with writers, working with the development team to identify concepts/writers/IP for existing output deals and additional independent projects, and candidates should be familiar with scheduling multiple executives, invoicing, basic accounting, and contracts. The company makes 50-60 movies a year in addition to multiple series, so candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be excited to work in every genre. The company's content is primarily for television and streamers, with a growing presence in the indie space as well. Due to the high volume of projects, candidates should be highly organized, great at multi-tasking, and have exceptional communication skills. Previous experience required.
We are a small but busy team, with plenty of opportunity to be exposed to all aspects of development and production. We prefer to promote from within, so growth is possible for the right person. This is a hybrid position; applicants should be prepared to spend half their time working from home and half their time in our LA office.
