How do I hire a Development Consultant? A renowned Los Angeles-based production company is seeking a Development Consultant to add to our team who specializes in unscripted programming.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:
-Previous production company and/or TV network development experience is required
-Flourish in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
-Passion for creating formats from the ground up--especially in the food and game spaces--but this person lives, breathes and develops all different genres of unscripted programming
-A team player who is a self-starter
-Successfully able to create production budgets
-Confident in overseeing and collaborating with editors / devising a cost and time-effective post plan for projects
-Experience in casting, writing decks, producing sizzle reels, presentation reels and pilots--both in the field and in the bay
-Confident at editing casting string-outs in Avid
-Production / Current Development experience in addition to development would be a big plus
