Day To Day Manager For Multi Platinum Selling Artist
WHO WE ARE:
Multi platinum selling artist lead company.
ROLE:
The day to day manager is responsible for album project management, music clearance and synchronization licensing, social media activations, touring and merchandising.
This position reports to both the artist and managers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Project manage the album recording process to ensure timely delivery and on budget recordings
· Collaborate with artist and team to hire the appropriate engineers and collect all feedback from artists, producers and songwriters
· Assist team in securing writer splits, songwriting credits and all other necessary needs for each song
· Accompany artist during the recording process and manage deadlines and budget through to mastering and delivery to label
· Maintain strong relationships with producers, songwriters and other creatives while developing new contacts to expand the production talent during the recording process
· Maintain awareness and understanding of current musical, cultural, technological and production trends
· Accompany artist on tour dates and appearances
· Manage hiring of tour management and crew, alongside the head music managers
· Work alongside the merchandising team to approve collections, manage deadlines and review feedback
· Work alongside the social media manager to approve assets for all social media accounts
· Communicate clearly with department, internal and external team members regarding project updates and sharing of ideas for everyone's benefit
REQUIREMENTS:
· Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the field in a music management capacity, with extensive experience at a music management company, booking agency or major label
· Knowledge of the process of songwriting and studio production
· Knowledge of music industry and cultural trends
· Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
· Strong relational skills
· Strong communication skills
· Strong presentation skills
· Requires heavy travel
· College degree preferred
LOCATION:
This position requires extensive travel and company is open to hiring in New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
SALARY:
Competitive Compensation Package including
Salary (BOE, $150,000+)
