Top strategic entertainment and lifestyle company seeks a meticulous, ambitious coordinator to work alongside the C.E.O. The company's capabilities include international film festival and awards season consultation, corporate communications, event management, talent relations, VIP experience curation and brand partnerships.
Clients include high-profile industry executives and corporate clients (major entertainment companies, brands, etc.). The company covers major film festivals and industry events such as Cannes, Venice, Toronto, Golden Globes, Grammys, Academy Awards and Emmys.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing events and festivals (Emmys, Golden Globes, Cannes Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, etc.): talent/executive relations, red-carpet coverage, creation of detailed itineraries, travel coordination, etc.
• Event management: maintaining and updating guest lists, sending invitations, managing R.S.V.Ps, working a check-in table, etc.
• Strategize, write and edit press releases, pitches, bios and other external materials
• Facilitate music ticketing requests
• Maintain and update editorial and event calendars
• Create pitch decks and other creative branding materials
• Perform administrative duties including managing calendars, selecting and distributing gifts for various occasions, mailing packages, logging and processing invoices and payments to vendors, etc.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with an entertainment company and familiarity with major industry players
• Requires great diplomatic skills in dealing with high-profile executives, talent and event guests
• Must be self-motivated, poised, patient and able to interact professionally with senior executives and talent at all times
• Must be extremely and obsessively detail-oriented, organized and able to multi-task
• Must have strong phone skills, good judgement and ability to juggle many different tasks simultaneously without ANY errors
• Strong eye for design, layout and graphic presentation
• Requires resourcefulness, initiative, creativity, problem-solving and follow-through
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and Google Drive. Photoshop skills preferred.
Job likely to necessitate occasional travel.
