Public Relations Support for PR Project

Boutique Bilingual PR Consulting Firm sees remote public relations support for a three-month consulting project. This is remote. Candidate should be based in Los Angeles part-time W2 work, and/or anywhere in the US to be considered as Consulting/Freelance as long as you meet the ABC Test for 1099.

FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH for a contract project as a publicity consultant.

candidate will:

**Will speak Fluent Spanish and English, with either English or Spanish First
**Strong writer to translate between English and Spanish pitch letters and press releases
** Feel confident in pitching project to US and Mexico-based Hispanic press and following up to secure placements
** Able to keep track of all work product in a concise, detailed and organized way
** Succinct communicator for correspondence with media and external shareholders
** Able to appear at bi-weekly meetings to discuss progress of outreach and PR support
**Culturally in sync with issues happening on both sides of the border
** Able to work 25 hours a week (all during traditional office hours for a W2, and for Consultant, 50% must be completed during traditional office hours)
** Experience with Cision and or MuckRack a MUST
** Proficient in using all social media platforms a MUST

**Proficient using Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, One Drive, Sharepoint, Powerpoint) a MUST
**Canva is a plus but not required
** Social Media posting platform PLANN is a plus but not required

SIX MONTHS to ONE YEAR real-world experience in either a position or internship required. This is an in-the-weeds position.
Ok to be a second job for someone, if they are interested. And again can provide payment for contract services either as a W2 (based in LA) or as a freelancer/consultant if you meet the ABC test for 1099.

If the Hourly is too low and you have the experience, will consider a higher rate for the right candidate.
