Below-the-Line Talent Agent

This is a Full Time Job

An established below-the-line talent agency seeks a motivated and industrious person to join our team as an agent. Previous talent agency or management experience is highly preferred. We will also consider someone with production management experience or a seasoned agency assistant ready to make the move to agent.

Responsibilities:
• Proactively seek employment opportunities for our diverse roster of clients
• Track upcoming productions including commercials, TV, and independent features
• Negotiate compensation and employment terms
• Develop relationships with production executives, producers, and other decision-makers in physical production
• Read scripts to assess suitability for/of clients
• Facilitate client interviews & meetings
• Identify potential clients for representation

Qualifications and Skills:
• Interest and knowledge of below-the-line talent
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Outlook) and databases
• Professional demeanor in-person, by phone, and via e-mail
• Proactive work ethic, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
• A temperament for advocating, mediating, and providing counsel
• Familiarity with IATSE basic agreement terms and conditions

Applicants must be willing to report to our Los Angeles office location. This is not a remote position.
