CASTING: Extras/Background Artists
Men between ages 25-65. To portray 1930s/1940s Jewish gangsters/mobsters for a development sizzle for an award winning NYC production company. Must be available from approximately 11:30am - 5:30pm on January 24th or 25th. Date still TBD. Location is Red Hook, BK. Lunch will be provided. Non-Union. Pay is $100 for the day.
All talent will be seated around a table playing cards/poker. Talent should generally know how to play poker. No speaking lines. Director may ask you to improv some movement in the moment. Fake cigars will also be used.
Wardrobe:
Talent should have dress shoes, ideally black - and generic enough that they don't seem too modern. We can provide some costuming, please let us know if you have 1930s/1940s looking attire already - like fedoras, suspenders, white undershirt, white tank top, generic black or dark brown slacks.
