This is a Full Time Job
• Job Purpose: Sherri, the daytime syndicated talk show, is looking for an ASSOCIATE PRODUCER to assist with all aspects of the show's bookings of human interest stories, experts, and lifestyle guests for the production of the one-hour, daily talk show. Sherri is a fun-filled, high energy show with feel good moments and comedy, hosted by comedian Sherri Shepherd.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate with Producers about guest's and production needs.
• Work with Production, Clearance and Legal teams in handling all paperwork regarding the creative and guests, including any necessary Clearance and other Releases.
• Assist show Producers and delegate assignments to Production Assistants.
• Participate in all show day procedures including briefing guests and organizing show elements.
• Pitch segment ideas, human interest stories and lifestyle segments to Executive Producers and Producers.
• Fact check and research.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2-years professional TV experience with a talk show, news program or relevant entertainment experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and navigating the internet
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be able to work in New York City
• This position will be office a minimum of four days a week

• Ability to multi-task and manage assignments under pressure in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

• Top notch organizational skills
• Willingness to work overtime and on weekends on short notice
