Search for Associate Producer jobs in Washington-DC
The Associate Producer reports directly to the Senior Line Producer and is responsible for supporting producers in both the creative and logistical process of production from project conception to finalization.
Roles and responsibilities
Support LSS by executing multiple tasks as assigned on a variety of projects.
Manage location expenses and oversee receipt gathering and filing
Craft proposals or creative briefs based on Senior level ideas and recommendations for the project, as communicated in pre-client creative brainstorm meeting
Assist producers throughout production with generating creative ideas and concepts per project based off information collected during client calls
Accountable to manage google drive folders for projects assigned
Conduct research as needed for projects
Gather media assets and proper permit/licensing
Handle location and talent releases. File internally and provide to client
Assist in field production with managing of call sheets, supplies and meals
Coordinate travel as requested, Confirm and assemble all travel information and expenses
Assign transcription and ensure properly filed
Liaise with the media management for projects
Work with editors in gathering assets, transcripts and executing general direction from producers
Assist in scripting for post production and manage paper script archive in google drive.
On occasion, oversee editors and post production
Track time and report into Tsheets
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferably specializing in Television/Media Production or relevant field
Ability to effectively communicate and work with team members in a collective process
A strong understanding of the television and/or media production process
Flexibility and the ability to perform well under stress and deadlines
Ability to incorporate a problem-solving approach to every area of development, production and post production
Strong attention to detail
Strong work ethic and reliability
Network/agency/production experience a plus
