Associate Producer - Social Media
DESCRIPTION
Our Associate Producer will assist the content team in the planning and creation of short-form social media content on Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube Shorts. You will challenge yourself and the team by blending creativity, editing knowledge, and social trends to produce high quality content in the luxury lifestyle vertical. We're seeking an individual who is energetic, has an excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn. This position requires someone who will thrive in a fast-paced environment that embraces constant innovation, collaboration, and strong editorial judgment for news and social happenings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce and post engaging short-form content daily across social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Snapchat.
• Craft compelling and accurate social copy for posts deploying in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequently travel to on-set production shoots.
• Monitor daily trends, stay on top of what competitors are producing daily, and find ways to use that as inspiration when pitching unique ideas.
• Create and edit short videos and graphics using Adobe Premiere, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Assist the Operations Manager with daily tasks in the office.
• Assist team in organizing social media calendar, monitoring brand's social channels, interacting with social audience, pulling analytics for custom reports on KPIs.
• Curate, edit, and post photo content on the company's Instagram.
• Assist the CEO with basic administrative tasks on set.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2-3 years of social media experience
• Bachelor's Degree in journalism, communications, online/multimedia, or related field
• Strong editing skills for both photo and video
• Ability to react quickly and positively in a startup environment
• Creativity and passion for social media and production
• Strong content/editorial judgment, production, and writing skills
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
• Available to travel up to 20 weeks a year, including weekends
• Must have a valid passport
