Non-writing executive producer for a 1/2 premium cable/streaming comedy series looking for an assistant. Looking for someone with production office, agency, or studio/network experience. This is not an entry-level position - experience is necessary. My past assistants have gone on to be production supervisors, production coordinators, assistant directors and producers.
IT experience is also necessary, as this is a dual role job as my assistant and acting as an admin for Slack, Trello, Zoom and virtual communication. Due to the nature of virtual work, there are not a lot of personal errands/tasks to attend to.
We are working virtually, so this is a 95% work from home situation until conditions change in LA.
Series is LA based. Show is decentralized with a small office footprint at Sony.
Looking for someone with great phone skills, attention to detail, willingness to learn, wants to be part of a team. This is a new way of working, and we are still figuring it out, so good ideas are welcome and encouraged.
As I oversee physical production, I want to be clear that I do not do creative work, and am not a gateway to working in writing or directing, Please only people with interest in production should apply.
START: September 2020
ESTIMATED WRAP: June 2020
Potential to stay on with me past June 2020 pending my next show.
