This is a Part Time Job
A well-established, professional, and boutique Toronto Talent Agency is seeking a driven and organized individual to join the agency as both the agency's Commercial Agent, and a part-time assistant to the Agency Owner. This hybrid role involves providing administrative support while actively managing and securing commercial opportunities for our talent roster. The ideal candidate is passionate about the entertainment industry, highly organized, and capable of building strong industry relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Agent Duties:
•Identify and secure on-camera and voiceover commercial opportunities for agency talent.
•Build and maintain relationships with casting directors, producers, and ad agencies.
•Submit talent for commercial auditions and negotiate contracts.
•Stay informed on industry trends and upcoming casting opportunities.
•Represent talent professionally during client communications and negotiations.
•Attend industry networking events to expand agency connections.
Agent Assistant Duties:
•Manage the agency calendar, and coordinate auditions and bookings.
•Communicate with clients, casting directors, and industry professionals.
•Prepare deal memos, invoices, and other important documentation.
•Maintain and update talent profiles, resumes, and promotional materials.
•Assist with social media management and marketing for agency talent.
•Provide general administrative, organizational, and coverage support.
Qualifications:
•Previous experience in talent representation, casting, or entertainment is preferred.
•Strong understanding of the commercial and entertainment industry.
•Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
•Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
•Familiarity with casting platforms (e.g., CW, BE, CN)
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.
•Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for talent development.
