We are seeking an Assistant Film Permit Coordinator.
We coordinate on-location film permits for tv, feature films, and commercials in the Los Angeles area.
It is a fast-paced office with heavy phones and e-mail. Strong typing, computer skills, and multi-tasking abilities a must.
This is a desk job that is a lot like air traffic control: we're in front of a screen all day making sure the planes (i.e., film productions) are on course and on time. Please understand that we're seldom out of the office and almost never on a movie set.
We've been in business for over 30 years. We prefer to promote from within so this position is designed to be one of growth. In the current environment of Covid-19, employees must be able to work from home half the week, and in our downtown LA office the other half the week. We're following strict Covid-19 guidelines which include only half staff in the office on any given day.
This is a full time position, Monday through Friday, with benefits after 90 days. Starting rate $17/hour with room to grow.
