Position Overview:
We're looking for an extremely proactive, forward thinking, organized, creative, and experienced Day-to-Day Music Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play an important role in overseeing the daily operations of our artists' careers, ensuring all aspects of their professional lives and day to day operations are efficient. This role is artist facing and you will be directly communicating with the artists, attorneys, labels, and rest of the team.
Candidate needs to be based in Los Angeles, one or two days will be in person, the rest of the week can be remote.
Candidate MUST have 2 years of experience working in the music industry with one of those being in management. Internships do not count towards either.
Key Responsibilities:
Artist Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for assigned artists, directly communicating with the artist and core team members.
Project Management: Oversee the planning and execution of music releases, tours, promotional events, and other projects.
Creative Support: Ideal candidate will help provide marketing, release, and general ideas to help the promotional side of artists' careers.
Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks such as booking travel, organizing meetings, and managing correspondence.
Financial Management: Work with business management and artist to help with budgeting, invoicing, and financial planning to ensure artists' financial health.
Contract Management: Communicate directly with artists' attorneys and manage contracts and agreements related to performances, recordings, and endorsements.
Team Coordination: Coordinate with various teams including A&R, PR, marketing, and legal to support artists' needs.
Crisis Management: Provide support and solutions during crisis situations, ensuring minimal impact on the artist's career.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the music industry (EXCLUDING INTERNSHIPS), 1 of those in music management
Strong knowledge of the music industry, including current trends and key players.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in using music management software and tools.
Passion for music and a deep commitment to supporting artists' careers.
