Day to Day Manager Job Description
The day to day manager reports to the company President and also coordinates client activities. The day to day manager acts as liaison between client's personal life and business management to guarantee a smooth and coordinated operation of personal and professional needs. Assistant also supports the manager in all tasks.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Act as main point of contact for: all personal correspondence, professional correspondence as directed by client or manager, and questions about personal and business information (i.e. logins, upcoming schedule, etc.)
Coordinate personal and family travel with management & travel agents
Provide personal assistance at high profile events locally
Maintain and update all technology, including phones, tablets, WiFi, etc.
Help coordinating general property management of artist property where needed
Run errands as needed (i.e. one-off errands, etc)
Help with logistics for personal events such as birthdays, parties etc.
Manage delivery of personal and professional items to and from NY and LA, including professional needs and personal items (clothing, other household items, etc)
Maintain and organize personal and professional iTunes, photo libraries and Dropbox
Maintain personal and professional contact and correspondence list
Coordinate logistics with management & field personal and professional asks, including gala appearances, VIP event participation, and any gratis/fundraiser concerts.
Availability: weekdays, on call at night and weekends to answer texts and phone calls as needed
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
General interest and knowledge of the music and entertainment industry
Must perform specific operational tasks to ensure client is successful in daily activity.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Must attend team calls
Great communication skills and ability to be a team player in a fast paced environment
No ego regarding occasional nanny work and shopping for personal items
Great listening and follow through skills with ability to take dictation or notes on-the-go
Discretion around high-profile entertainment figures
Health and fitness conscious, understands nutrition
Highly Proficient with Apple products and programs and ability to troubleshoot any issues
Must be licensed, safe driver with exceptional sense of directions and driving knowledge of Los Angeles
Proactive thinking and able to Multitask
