This is a Full Time Job
A thriving independent production company with over 18 films produced in the past 2 years, is seeking a motivated administrative assistant to join the company. The position is remote and has employees of the company based in California and New York.
The Role
The assistant will provide administrative support to the owners, as well as other executives at the company. The ideal candidate should be motivated, interested in film production, detail orientated, quick-thinking and open to working in an environment where they are capable of performing administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Schedules appointments, meetings, etc. with clear sense of calendar priorities
• Answers telephones; screens, logs and places calls.
• Creates offer letters for cast on upcoming projects.
• Drafts emails, agendas, notes and prepares expense reports.
• Provide script coverage on incoming scripts
• Performs additional related duties as required.
Qualifications
• At least 1 year of professional administrative experience supporting an executive in a fast-paced environment.
• At least 1 year of professional experience working in the film industry.
• Experience working at an agency is a plus but not required.
• Ability to anticipate needs and execute time sensitive matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently.
• Ability to work well under pressure; meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to respond after hours for timely and urgent matters.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong professional interpersonal skills, while understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
• Must be solutions oriented.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
