We are a musical instrument rental, repair and storage house looking for a full time Administrative Assistant/Office Manager to assist the owner of the company and manage our office located in North Hollywood. This is a full time position, Monday -Friday 9:30am-6:30pm. The salary range will be based on experience from $14.00-$17.00 per hour.
You must:
Have 1+ years of experience working as an assistant in an office environment
Possess the ability to multi-task, anticipate and prioritize.
Have an extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel
Be proficient on both a PC and Mac
Possess excellent people skills and have an upbeat personality
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Have strong problem solving and decision making abilities.
Be highly organized and detail oriented
Type at a minimum speed of 45wpm
Have reliable transportation and cell phone
Responsibilities Include:
Maintain office records
Answer and direct phone calls
Process and distribute mail
Maintain and update employee files
Maintain office equipment and supplies for all areas (office, kitchen, bathroom, etc..)
Organize office operations and procedures
Assist bookkeeper as needed and have some knowledge of Quickbooks
Filing
Communicate with Vendors and Customers
Generate PO's in an accurate and timely manner
Maintain detailed and accurate tracking logs
Perform other duties as assigned
