We need the following:

Captain Frederick Brown LEAD ROLE

MALE, AGE: 25 – 30, Caucasian or East Indian, MUST HAVE BRITISH OR CANADIAN ACCENT
Freddy is the embodiment of Hasya Rasa, or laughter.
Captain Frederick Brown is a versatile man who wears a hat with many feathers. He is an Anglo-Indian who inherits a legendary political legacy but became a Mariner by choice, traveling in ships across seas; an entrepreneur who envisions a huge and magnificent project for his fellow Mariners; a star blogger who won the hearts of millions and, above all a passionate person with a poetic love affair which crossed barriers of religion and ethnicity. With his charismatic smile and sense of humor this happy-go-lucky guy could turn any dull moment into a joyous one.
After a long and interesting voyage he docks his ship at a port near his home town. His long odysseys had kept him away from the happenings on the land and its devastating aftermaths. What should have been a normal vacation turns turbulent all of a sudden.
He was forced to confront his worst nightmares, one by one. Questions were asked, challenges were posed. What follows is a series of tragedies and adventures and indecisive moments between life and death.

Maria LEAD ROLE

FEMALE, AGE: 20 – 30, Caucasian or East Indian, MUST HAVE BRITISH OR CANADIAN ACCENT
Maria is the embodiment of Bhayanaka Rasa, or fear. Anything could frighten her, from the sound of foot steps on dry leaves to that of a thunder.
She is the daughter of Mayor John Brown and the sister of Captain Frederick Brown.
She led a tragic life. During her childhood a wrongly administered anesthesia partially paralyzed her body confining her life to a wheelchair, to the four walls of the house.
Father was touched by the kind heartedness and compassion of Durai, his political assistant and happily agreed for Maria’s marriage with him. That was a turning point in her life. Durai wanted to use the political legacy of her family to gain power and he did it in the most unscrupulous way.
Since she knows everything about her law-breaker husband, Durai kept her under house arrest. But the ray of hope was not too far. Things took dramatic turns…

Sam LEAD ROLE

MALE, AGE: 3- 5, East Indian or Caucasian
Must be able to speak clearly and follow direction
Must have American or Canadian Accent
Sam is the embodiment of Atbhuta Rasa, or wonder.
Sam, born to an East Indian father and Canadian mother, resembles his mother in appearance but is daddy’s boy. Curious to know about everything around him, Sam constantly asks questions. With his smartness and playful nature he grabs attention and love easily. His closest friend is his doll which he carries with him all the time. His chronic illness was soon identified. Doctors conclude that it’s incurable.
Sam’s parents break up and his father takes him to his ancestral home in India, in search of a cure for his illness. At his father’s house he finds a mother’s love and care, something which he had never experienced. But things get twisted when his mother comes for him. And he witnesses troubles and turmoil, and indecisive moments between life and death.

Shooting will be on location in India, Singapore, and Dubai. Please submit headshot and resume by 11/5/09. Auditions will be by appointment only.
