Acting Instructor

This is a Part Time Job

Position Requirements: Acting Instructor

Education:
• BFA or MFA in Acting

Availability:
• Start at the beginning of February.
• Open availability on Sundays to teach between 10 am - 10 pm.
• Please note that we skip major holiday weekends and do not operate during Middle June/July and from the end of November to mid-January.

Experience:
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:
• Proficient in various acting techniques with a strong emphasis on Meisner exercises
• Comprehensive understanding of the acting industry and its demands
• Ability to write and develop a curriculum for a 16-week in-person course covering:
- Scene analysis
- On-camera audition techniques
- Independent activity exercises
- Live theater performances with scene partners
