Accounts Payable Specialist

Reports to Director of Finance

A high-end production studio also owns one of LA's top coffee shops. They are growing rapidly and looking for a lead accountant to grow with them. This opportunity has a lot of growth potential for someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit and digs production and coffee!

Responsibilities & Requirements:
Weekly cash management reporting.
Record, and process accounts payable and cash disbursements.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of vendor data in the accounting system, vendor relations & follow-up
Record daily sales and cash receipts.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and adjusting journal entries.
Prepare and process payroll and deductions schedules
Posting of accounts to the general ledger for accounts receivable, cash receipts, accounts payable,cash disbursements and payroll.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
Create and prepare financial reports with and for the DOF.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports with and for the DOF.
Maintain required records, reports, and files in an organized manner.

Ideal:
Minimum 5 years general ledger, bookkeeping, and accounting experience.
Restaurant-Specific accounting and bookkeeping experience is preferred.
Experience for accounting management of the entire business entity/business units.
Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online.
Prior experience with ADP Payroll preferred.
In-depth experience with Microsoft Office (primarily Word and Excel).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
