For a boutique law firm specializing in entertainment law for top talent in the music and film industries. We are seeking an Accounting Manager with 5+ years of experience. This position will report to the firm's General Partners at their west coast Beverly Hills office. The Company offers competitive pay and benefits, the title based on experience.
The responsibilities are as follows:
Oversee the overall accounting operations of the finance department, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures
Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
Monitor and manage attorney expenses and ensure reimbursements are made in a timely manner
Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly
Maintain a system of controls over accounting and finance transactions
Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
Provide financial analyses as needed
Skills:
Understanding of accounting software like QuickBooks Premier Software, Datafaction, Sage 50cloud, and/or Zoho Books is highly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or other business related field.
Law Firm, Management, or Agency office experience desired but not required.
