Actively seeking an Accountant to join the team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, detail-oriented, and has high attention to detail.
Looking for a very organized, computer literate, fast learning, detail oriented accountant in a quick paced office environment. You would be assisting the CEO of a fast growing modeling agency. Entry level bookeeping work, including maintaining model ledgers, tracing expenses and collections. Need to be very proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel. QUICKBOOK knowledge a big plus!
Candidates will help manage our Models and Clients booking memos, contracts and keeping everything organized through Quickbooks Online Accounting system.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Input booking memos to send invoices to clients • Create bills, input talent information and manage projects in Quickbooks • Check the accuracy of business transactions • Perform data entry and administrative duties • Scanned checks and send copies of check stubs to talents • Receive, identify, enter queue and arrange for scanning all incoming client checks
Manage deliverables to banks. Manages monthly closing of financial records and posting month end information; ensures accuracy of financial statements.
Salary: $27.5K - $47.6K per year - 20 hours a week. Work in the LA office 1-2 a week Flexible hours but at least 20 per week. Must live in the city of Los Angeles.
This is a full-time job, typical hours are approximately M-F 9-5 with some flex. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing team with a wonderful reputation in the industry!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Must be knowledgeable about Quickbooks Online and Google Services • Graduate with Accounting or Finance background • Ability to prioritize and multitask • Strong organizational skills • Deadline and detail-oriented
• 1+ years of Accounting experience within the financial services industries, legal industry, or similar within accounting. • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Mathematics • Previous experience within Entertainment in public and private accounting as well as Banking highly preferred • Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Access.
• Excellent Communication Skills - both verbal and written • Strong interpersonal skill - must be able to explain accounting details and concepts • Highly organized with strong attention to detail • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
Previous experience in • Financial closing, consolidations, reporting, planning and project management experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP), including intercompany, foreign currency accounting and familiarity with new FASB revenue recognition standards. • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle and/or Microsoft Dynamics.
The successful Accounting Manager candidate will be an excellent people manager and possess good technical accountant skills. This individual is a hands-on manager with strong communication skills to guide internal staff, be the liaison with internal departments, outside accountants, bankers, vendors and others.
