We are seeking a service minded individual to perform a critical customer support role on behalf of our account management team located at our Burbank, CA studios. Specific responsibilities for this role include the following:
• Assist account management team with daily orders and administrative activities
• Check costs for project creation versus sales value
• Alert management to pricing discrepancies prior to order submission
• Validate final invoices and reconcile prior to payment
• Provide back-up coverage for account managers during time-off
• Ensure timely, accurate completion of orders as per customer specifications
• Assist with customer deliveries, file checks, conversions
• Track re-delivery requests assisting project management team
• Tracking transactional orders for entry into sales and order management systems
This position offers an entry-point and growth opportunity to become a full-time account manager based on performance and future business needs. While project management experience is not a requirement, developmental progress will be dependent on the employee's ability to take direction and learn from training.
The ideal candidate must be able to perform well under pressure and operate under tight delivery time constraints. Good communications skills, written and verbal, are required. Since we are a multi-national company, candidates must be flexible working across time-zones and international locations. Comfort using online collaboration tools including Skype and Google Suite is necessary. Experience in localization is not a requirement, but language skills and interest in subtitling, secondary audio and localization is preferred. Working knowledge of video and audio formats and familiarity with video compression/transcoding concepts desired. Proficiency with basic computer skills, such as Microsoft Office (especially Excel), is required. This position will work regularly within our proprietary order management system and the ability to quickly learn or adapt to new systems/technologies is essential.
