Boutique PR firm looking for candidates for Account Coordinator position in LA office. Minimum of 20 hours per week, with potential of 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily monitoring and tracking of print, online and broadcast media of client coverage
• Ongoing assistance with booking client press, client meetings and other opportunities as directed by senior team members
• Assist senior team members by responding to requests and ensure that requests are taken care of in an efficient manner
• Draft for review a broad range of PR documents of varying complexity, including memos, pitches, bios, proposals and press releases
• Media relations including media outreach, media list development and pitching
• Researching and monitoring current industry-related trends in the news cycle
• Contributing to social media programs and tactics
• Scan, upload and create eye-catching client electronic press kits
• Conduct client interaction via email and phone and under the direct guidance of senior team members
• Coverage of client interviews, appearances, red carpet events and other events as directed
• General office and administrative duties
Requirements:
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced knowledge of technology and social media
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team-oriented
