Ableton Assistant

This is a Part Time Job

Platinum-selling recording artist/producer (bass music, DNB, hip-hop, vocals, electronic) seeks reliable and capable Ableton Assistant with an emphasis on mixing and production. Familiarity with Pro Tools is very beneficial due to constant interfacing between both DAWs. The candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful. Location is the artist's professional recording/mixing studio in the Hollywood Hills.

This position would entail being involved with assisting in the production and mixing of a label release album over the next 2 months with the potential to evolve into a permanent position.

Expected hours would be afternoons to evenings Monday-Friday with possible flexibility to adjust as needed if the fit is right (range 25-40 hrs/week).

The environment is creative, fun, and casual, but efficiency and professionalism are pivotal to our success. You will be a part of an existing, close-knit, 4-person team that works as a cohesive unit with the artist.

Required Skills/Qualifications:
• Ableton Proficiency in mixing and production for electronic music (emphasis on bass music and DNB)
• Ability to research and understand solutions to tech problems in Ableton
• Familiarity with Pro Tools is a big plus
• Mac fluency
