A&R Administration / QC Specialist

This is a Part Time Job

NY-based Distributor is seeking an A&R Administration / QC Specialist to join their rapidly growing team. This position will be responsible for vetting prospective artist and label signees, as well as screening all client-delivered content before distribution. Individual will also be responsible for working with partners to ensure catalogue is properly monetized across services like Soundexchange and Youtube Content-ID There is also opportunity for the position to include/expand toward A&R scouting where possible.
Ideal candidates should have a demonstrated knowledge of:
-ACR/Audio recognition tools
-Master rights clearance and ownership / Master exploitation rights
-DSP's and their various metadata QC guidelines
-A familiarity of the Content-ID claiming and conflict resolution processes across DSP's
-proactively identifying potentially infringing or fraudulent content
