World class tourist attraction complex in Myrtle Beach, SC is looking for an Attractions, General Manager to join their team! In this role, the General Manager will build and lead the frontline team and be responsible for the daily operation and success of one of their flagship attractions.
In addition to staffing and managing the operations teams, the general manager will be tasked with the development of growth strategies, maintaining the budget, and helping to maximize both guest satisfaction as well as venue profits.
The GM will also be responsible for the cleanliness, safety, security, and emergency preparedness of the facility, while managing the staff in all aspects of ticket/retail sales, operations, and facility maintenance.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader to help guide the operation of a historic, exciting, and beautiful venue.
Qualifications:
• 3 years of management experience in themed entertainment and/or family entertainment centers
• Ability to use office productivity software and Excel spreadsheets, plus experience with other digital and operations technologies
• Experience with implementing Covid-19 safety policies and procedures is preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• A flexible mindset and availability to handle the various needs and deadlines of a busy venue
