Full Time Job
Our client, a major television network and media production company, has an immediate need for a Senior Director of Learning and Organizational Development for their HR department. In this role, the Senior Director of Learning and Development will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of HR leadership and development initiatives, and collaborate with internal leaders to integrate learning programs and resources. In addition, the Senior Director will be responsible for reengineering the organization's learning initiatives, creating, and facilitating development training, and assessing partnership opportunities that align with business strategies and cultural initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Provide an innovative approach to promote a learning culture, including design and delivery of a portfolio of learning programs, vendor management, resource, and budget allocation
• Collaborate with VP, HR, and managers on the integration, development, and evolution of other HR systems to support employee development for retention of key talent
• Develop and execute strategies for learning and development programs
• Support HR processes and influence key HR initiatives, such as performance management, succession planning, training and development, and organizational effectiveness
• Create training, coaching, and mentoring opportunities to improve the employee experience
• Oversee the implementation of company's performance management platform and create applicable communication plans and training
• Coordinate with L&D leaders to leverage learning program opportunities and corporate training programs
• Create curriculum and facilitates in both classroom and online settings
Qualifications
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum 7 years L&D experience in small to mid-size organizations, and minimum 4 years of progressive L&D strategic leadership
• Prior experience with development, execution and oversight of strategic priorities, and proven success driving successful L&D and change management strategies
• Broad knowledge and experience with current and forward-thinking systems, programs, processes, best practices, and resources for development and delivery of L&D strategies
• Exceptional project management skills with expertise creating and managing programs involving a diverse audience, change management, and multiple organizational partners.
• Ability to understand data, metrics, and analytics
• Effectively manage vendors, contractors, and work within a pre-defined budget
• Knowledge of human behavior, and training/development theory and methodology strongly preferred
• Stellar interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to maintain a high degree of integrity, credibility, and trustworthiness at all times
