Personal Assistant to Music Artist - Topanga Canyon

Location: Topanga Canyon

Schedule: Monday to Friday, hours could be 9-5 or 12-8pm - please be flexible and available 5 days/week - some remote work

Compensation: $72k annual salary + two weeks paid vacation, sick days, holidays

A high profile music artist is seeking an assistant to handle both personal and household related tasks. Duties will include overseeing the property, helping it stay tidy, and tackling any house related needs or errands that may arise.

As the principal has a very busy and ever-changing schedule, we are seeking someone who can exercise some flexibility with the schedule, as each week or day may be a bit different - you will be given as much advanced notice as possible. Sometimes the principal will be traveling, in studio, or at a show, and may require driving to and from these places. The schedule will fluctuate based on occurrences such as these, so instead of starting early morning, you may start early afternoon and stay through the evening.

There could be a need from time to time to assist with some laundry and light meal prep (salads, smoothies - easy, clean foods). There is a housekeeper that works in the home, so this is not a position that requires any deep cleaning. The principal is currently renting a home in Topanga Canyon, and any housework or repairs will need to be discussed with the landlord - must be an excellent, detailed and clear communicator, giving regular updates and being the main point of contact for any questions or imminent needs.

Ideal candidate is easy going, sharp, a quick thinker, has great common sense, is readily available via phone and text, can clearly communicate and confidently execute tasks without direct supervision. We would love to find someone who has experience working with high profile individuals and/or understands how to be discreet, respectful of privacy, and knows exactly how to read a room. Must have thick skin and be open to feedback. We are seeking someone who can jump in and handle it all, allowing the principal to really dial in to their work and focus on being creative.

Specific duties/requirements will include:

Driving to the studio, meetings, etc.
Managing LA and other out of state property
Proficiency in Google Cal, Microsoft Office, ect.
Booking personal appointments, calls, meetings, travel, etc.
Managing personal items in the calendar
Keeping the principal on time
Personal shopping
Running errands
Laundry / Dry Cleaning
