Entertainment law firm seeking floater for transactional entertainment attorneys on the Westside. YOU MUST HAVE 2+years entertainment assistant experience, either at an entertainment law firm or in business affairs at the studios. Your resume MUST REFLECT entertainment assistant legal experience. Daily assigned to any attorney or paralegal desk to perform a variety of responsible, confidential, and complex administrative, technical, and secretarial duties. Act as a liaison with other departments, staff, outside agencies, clients, and the general public.
2+ years legal entertainment experience, either at an entertainment law firm or business affairs at the studios
Word, Excel, Outlook
ability to work overtime, as required
public Notary designation is desirable
Answer phones and check voicemail, and transcribe when required, scheduling, maintaining phone logs
Format, create, produce, and edit correspondence and other written materials including agreements, letters, memos, cover sheets, other legal documents
Redlining and version comparisons on agreements
Transcribe dictated or written materials
Track client fees and prepare invoicing
Cover reception and the front desk, as requested
Short term overflow work and long term projects, as requested
Assist in the Fileroom or Mailroom, as requested
Operate office equipment including computers, copiers, facsimile machines, and dictation
Personal tasks as requested including but not limited to getting drinks / food
Miscellaneous administrative tasks and special projects and other duties, as requested

$60-70k plus full benefits
