Executive Assistant to Actor/Writer/Director

This is a Full Time Job

This is a 100% remote position but applicant must reside within the Continental U.S.

This position works directly with an artist who is an actor, writer and director.

Primary functions of the position:
• Professionally receive, and appropriately handle, communications from various sources directed toward the Artist
• Professionally and accurately relay communication from the Artist to others as appropriate, and as directed
• Ensure all communication, scheduling, and organizational tools are in working order and debug as necessary Artist's iPhone, email, calendar and more
• Keep Artist apprised of key people trying to reach him
• Coordinate artists schedule
• Research and book hotels, flights, cars, making sure all are set up to the appropriate needs and standards of the Artist
• Constantly strive to understand and provide what's needed and wanted by Artist

Applicant must have or be:
• 3-5 years experience working in a comparable role
• 3-5 years working in the entertainment industry
• A natural quickness of mind and communication
• Bright, smart, interested, friendly, discreet
• Ability to easily read and understand written communication
• Ability to concisely communicate ideas and information both verbally and written
• A natural desire to help and be of service
• Very strong understanding of the Mac universe (phones, computers and other accessories) and the ability to set up and use these tools to best support the Artist
• Thorough understanding of what tech tools to use to best support the Artist
• An expert at searching for and finding the best of whatever is needed

This experience is a major plus:
• An understanding of business in general, and possibly some experience in this area
• An interest in generally helping make the world a better place

Purpose of the position:
• To provide services and functions that help free up the time and attention of the Artist
• To maintain and enhance the good PR of the artist by always using manners, professionalism, efficiency, and friendliness in all interactions with others while representing him
• To always have the best interests of the Artist in mind as a primary driver in all activities
• To keep all communication to and from Artist moving with speed and accuracy

Details of the position:
• Pay to be commensurate with experience with a target range of $84k - $104k per year
• This is a remote position within the continental U.S.
• The candidate's primary work location must have excellent cell and internet service
• Some travel will be necessary but likely not to exceed 25%-35% of overall work time
• Candidate should be comfortable with working long hours, and interested and able to monitor communications into the evenings and weekends as needed and necessary depending on activities of the Artist
