Controller - Multi-Entity Celebrity Family Office & Entertainment (Latin Music)
Location: Miami, FL (100% On-Site)
Position Type: Full-Time | In-Person
Compensation: Competitive Salary + Performance Bonus + Full Benefits Package
Reports To: Fractional CFO
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Operations & Multi-Entity Reporting
Oversee and manage the general ledger across all entities (Record Label, NIL Licensing, Touring Company, and Personal Businesses).
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for senior stakeholders.
Produce weekly cash flow summaries, disbursement reports, and receipt logs.
Develop custom financial dashboards and perform variance analysis against budgets and prior periods.
Internal Controls & Procurement
Design, implement, and monitor internal controls across all entities to safeguard assets.
Enforce structured procurement processes, approval hierarchies, and delegation of authority tables.
Manage weekly payment cycles: invoice reception, ACH setup, release approvals, and Friday transfers.
Coordinate directly with top local Miami CPA firms for tax compliance and audit preparation.
Royalties, Licensing & Global Payroll
Oversee royalty calculations and revenue reconciliation for label operations.
Track rights utilization and licensing revenue for the Name & Likeness business.
Administer global multi-entity payroll, including international contractor payments for touring.
Supervise and mentor staff accountants across all entities.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; 7+ years of progressive accounting leadership (Controller, Accounting Manager, or Senior Accountant).
Software Expertise: Proficiency in AgilLink (Datafaction) for multi-entity client accounting is highly preferred; experience with cloud-based ERPs and payroll software.
Industry Background: Previous experience in music, entertainment, live touring, or family office / business management environments.
Language Skills: Professional fluency in both English and Spanish (required for interfacing with Latin market vendors, touring crews, and local partners).
Location: Based in or relocating to Miami, FL prior to start date, with the ability to work full-time on-site.
