Attractions, General Manager

Our client and world-class tourist attraction complex, The Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is excited to be adding a General Manager to their team!

In this role, you will build and lead the frontline team for all three attractions which include The Hollywood Wax Museum, Hannah's Maze of Mirrors, and the zombie infested Outbreak - Dread of the Undead. In addition to staffing, training, and managing the operations team, the GM will continue to increase employee engagement, exemplify the highest levels of guest service, and supervise staff to meet and exceed those standards. The GM will also be responsible for the cleanliness, safety, security, and emergency preparedness of the facility, while managing the staff in all aspects of ticket/retail sales, operations, and facility maintenance to maximize both guest satisfaction and service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader to help guide the operation of a historic, exciting, and beautiful venue.

The right person should have:
• 4 years of management experience in themed entertainment and/or family entertainment centers
• Ability to use office productivity software and Excel spreadsheets, plus experience with other digital and operations technologies
• Experience with implementing Covid-19 safety policies and procedures is a big plus.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• A flexible mindset and availability to handle the various needs and deadlines of a busy venue

This is a full time, permanent, onsite role in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Out of state candidates are encouraged to apply as the team will cover relocation.
