Account Coordinator, Content, Hollywood, CA
Hours: 9-6 + OT (approximately 2-5 hours weekly)
Entertainment Public Relations agency based in Los Angeles representing Top Studios, Production companies, traditional/Digital Content, and Platforms-offering a positive, team-oriented creative environment. This position will have a strong focus on Digital Content, Studio, Film and Entertainment Technology clients.
Seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Account Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting the team in the development and execution of Publicity strategic campaigns.
The candidate would be responsible for a broad scope of day-to-day supportive work, including creating and maintaining media lists, coordinating opportunities, creating itineraries, managing EPK'S, supporting pitching, and creating media coverage reports.
The ideal candidate would have a passion for and knowledge of Digital Entertainment (YouTube, SVOD, OTT platforms, etc.), film, TV and Social Media Influencers. This individual is able to multi-task, handle a large volume of work, and can leverage previous experience to support the strategic objectives.
Responsibilities include:
Work with supervisors to curate and maintain client press lists.
Manage media coverage tracking and produce weekly press reports for distribution among internal and external teams.
Maintain digital press kits and comprehensive client reports.
Heavy research and targeted list building.
Ability to develop, write and successfully pitch press to secure coverage for clients' initiatives.
Provide on-site media relations support at client events including film premieres, junkets, shoots, and major conferences.
Requirements:
1 year minimum of Public Relations experience at an Agency, Network or Studio
Proficient in using PR/Entertainment software, databases and cloud services such as; Cision, IMDbPro, Compete/Quantcast, Dropbox, Google Docs, etc.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office suite programs. Photoshop experience is a plus.
Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills.
Experience performing Media Outreach to a variety of consumer and industry press a plus.
Great attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Understanding of and interest in the Digital Entertainment industry.
Professional demeanor with a positive attitude is a must.
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations or related field preferred.
Experience and familiarity with Digital Influencers preferred.
