Overview:
The Producer will be the point of contact for clients and will work closely with Method department heads to ensure that each production runs smoothly. The candidate will focus on building solid relationships by managing client expectations and meeting our creative/technical standards. This candidate with have VFX/Post production experience and is confident managing multiple VFX projects simultaneously.
Main Duties:
The Producer will produce projects within an approved budget and deadline while handling client-facing correspondence. The candidate will work closely with Creative Directors, CG Supervisors, VFX Supervisors and Flame Leads to accurately assess project changes in direction, budget, and scheduling. In addition, the Senior VFX Producer will motivate, navigate, and lead their team through each stage of a project while accurately resolving problems and maintaining a positive customer relationship.
Meet with client contacts to cover progress on projects, due dates, changes to projects etc.
Maintain and update schedule and crewing needs with information garnered from client communication.
Track costs throughout the project and deliver within scope and budget.
Communicate changes in projects to department leads and management.
Maintain a positive customer relationship through both written and verbal communication as well as high levels of customer satisfaction by accurately fulfilling customer orders and resolving customer problems accurately, on time, and with high quality.
Use appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding department or employee
concerns.
What You Bring:
Background in television, film or episodic visual effects.
Demonstrated superior written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are needed. Proven planning and problem solving abilities are required.
The ability to effectively handle multiple projects and responsibilities under pressure with minimal supervision is essential.
Very strong ability identifying clear priorities and meeting department goals.
The ability to work flexible hours is necessary.
