Manager Of Acquisitions & Licensing- Digital Media
THE POSITION:
Common Sense Networks is looking for a passionate and talented Children's programming professional to report into and support the Head of Acquisitions & Licensing in acquiring both Digital First & Studio Children's video content for its AVOD & SVOD branded library, Sensical.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Develop and maintain working relationships with Content Creators, Agents, Production Companies, Broadcasters, Streamers & Content Distributors.
Assist with & directly negotiate deals in consultation with the Head of Acquisitions
Liaise with Editorial, Programming, Legal, Content Operations, Marketing & Finance teams
Measure and track relevant performance metrics and KPI's
Manage & update all related content acquisitions and licensing reports
Complete special projects as required
WHAT WE NEED TO SEE ON YOUR RESUME:
3-5 years of experience in either distribution, programming or acquisitions in the children's media space
Strong knowledge of the business and legal aspects of content acquisitions and licensing
Passion for & strong familiarity of children's programming/content, ideally with knowledge/interest in short form digital content
Demonstrated high-level of communication skills; ability to present/pitch, collaborate effectively, guide and influence positive outcomes & use creative solution oriented thinking
Exceptional & open-minded relationship skills, with the ability to build, manage and foster new and existing relationships with internal stakeholders and Content Suppliers/Clients
Proven ability to manage a large volume of clients/creators and programs/videos and regularly liaise with Content Suppliers/Clients
Comfortable in Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, Excel and Windows
Availability to travel and attend industry conferences & events as necessary and required
