Digital Video Co-ordinator (programming & production)
Global digital video startup Commercialize TV (CTV) is seeking a passionate, driven, dedicated junior online video specialist. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the formative team building an exciting startup with a vision to become the world's preeminent video hub, with a particular focus on Asia. We're looking for an ambitious self-starter who can help grow, manage and distribute video content throughout diverse digital platforms globally. The current content focus is on two key pillars - Fashion & Action/Adventure. A love of and passion for one or both pillars is an advantage.
Background:
• A deep, demonstrated understanding of Online Video, Social Media and Video Production
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail
• Experience in programming digital content
• Strong technical knowledge & demonstrated trouble shooting ability
• Experience in video platforms
• Knowledge of video production processes and programs (including Final Cut Pro)
• Superb verbal and written communication skills
• An excellent ability to analyze, interpret and report data
• Demonstrated understanding of digital culture, of diverse online audience and what content best engages different global audiences
• Demonstrated understanding of how to best drive video views & engagement
* Experience working in a global role, or with diverse cultures a plus
Responsibilities:
• Work with the Video Channel Manager to help execute strategies to grow YouTube and other key global channels in Asia - both CTV's and managed channels/networks
• Manage international process workflows in a highly efficient and organized manner
• Work with relevant team members globally to program content according to what is working well
• Assist in the day to day operations of YouTube and other global CTV networks
• Uploading of video, thumbnail design, community management, video optimization
• Liaise and report on channels growth - utilize analytics to shape future work/programming
• Video and image editing where required
• Manage programming for diverse global channels / platforms
• Participate in CTV's relevant social channels to drive awareness and views back to video channels/platforms
Skills & Experience & Attitudes:
• 2+ in an agency or media company
• Must be entrepreneurial and the have the ability to work autonomously and as a part of a diverse global team
• Flexibility, tenacity, positive attitude and ability to think outside the box at all times are essential
• Passionate about online video and social media
• Highly organized
• Strong project management skills
• Data and technical orientation
