Full Time Job
The Senior Manager of Operations/Special Projects will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations for a team of 20 employees. She/he will report directly to the Vice President of Series Strategy for the Comedy Central Digital team.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable working collaboratively within a large, multi-layered organization and will be responsible for managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. She/he must be highly organized, meticulous, and able to juggle multiple projects at any given time.
Responsibilities:
• Optimize and maintain workflows across teams -- design, video production, brand creative, digital production, etc.
• Track progress of projects and manage timelines
• Help manage creation of all presentations/decks and manage outward communication to key stakeholders
• Work with producers on creation of project documentation including strategy briefs and content rollout schedules
• Lead and/or represent in various departmental meetings
• Serve as point person to integrated marketing department to ensure seamless execution of sponsorships and ad campaigns
• Liaise with product development and production teams for projects including owned and operated web sites/apps, Voice platforms, and more
• Manage workflows for digital asset sharing across Viacom international properties
• Oversee creative projects involving Comedy Central archive shows including mashups, compilations and programming stunts
Basic Qualifications
• 4 years of producing and/or project management experience working within a digital and/or video production environment for a major network brand or agency
• Experience working with development executives, talent, video production & post teams
• Experience managing teams, mentoring and providing creative guidance
Additional Qualifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of the digital, social and emerging platforms space
• Expertise in working with Powerpoint and/or Keynote and a keen design sense
