Events Coordinator, Brand Marketing (TEMP POSITION: 3-4 MONTHS FULL TIME - MAY-AUGUST)
The Brand Marketing Events Coordinator will assist in planning and executing experiential, trade, and consumer events. The candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and have previous event planning experience at a media or entertainment brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the development of all consumer, trade, and industry events including, screenings, premiere parties, festivals, and on the ground activation's for the summer
• Work closely with the Development, Press, Talent, and Ad Sales departments to build guest lists for various events and ensure that their needs are covered at events
• Work closely with Social Media and Press teams on promotional marketing plans and event coverage
• Work closely with project managers & designers to create all branded assets for events
• Maintain guests lists, RSVPs, and RSVP requests prior to event
• Work closely with respective vendors to develop various event assets
• Review creative assets and copy, ensuring accuracy and consistency within each event
• Set up event invitations for events via online invite system (knowledge of Splash a plus)
• Maintain event deliverable timelines and production status
• Create pertinent assets and communication documents for all internal and external parties
• Ensure social sharing opportunities are incorporated into all events
• Assist with the development of events decks, one-sheets, and recap reports
• Oversee all talent travel/itineraries related to consumer events
• Think strategically & creatively on how to develop and improve events
