POSITION TITLE: Nanny
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Nanny provides safe, attentive, and nurturing childcare services for players' and coaches' children during scheduled home games. This role ensures children a secure, engaging, and fun environment while adhering to club policies and health guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide attentive childcare services by club safety and operational guidelines.
• Supervise and engage children in games, storytelling, and structured play.
• Work collaboratively with other nannies to maintain a safe and positive childcare environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's needs and activities.
• Monitor children's safety and well-being, including assisting with restroom use and nap times.
• Change diapers and provide proper hygiene care for infants and toddlers following health and safety guidelines.
• Wash and sanitize toys, play equipment, and common areas to maintain cleanliness.
• Prepare bottles, formulas, and healthy snacks according to dietary needs.
• Administer basic First Aid when necessary and appropriately respond to minor medical concerns.
• Attend required planning sessions and meetings to ensure seamless childcare coordination.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Community Affairs manager.
• Maintain confidentiality of all child and family information.
• Ensure the family room and childcare spaces remain clean, organized, and welcoming.
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support team members by fostering a cooperative and inclusive work environment.
• Adapt to changing childcare needs and schedules based on game days and parent requests.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• A minimum of two (2) years of formal childcare training is required.
• At least three (3) years of experience in childcare roles, such as nanny, teacher, teacher assistant, or childcare specialist.
• Current CPR AED, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens certification, or willingness to take training and become certified.
• Comfortable working with children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens.
• Strong ability to multitask and respond calmly in high-pressure situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills when interacting with families and staff.
• High level of trustworthiness, accountability, and confidentiality when handling sensitive family information.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to lift and carry children weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and sitting on the floor while engaging with children.
• Ability to move quickly in response to emergencies or to assist a child in need.
• Engaging in physical play activities such as lifting, bouncing infants, or participating in games with toddlers and young children.
• Assisting with setting up and cleaning childcare equipment, toys, and play areas, which may require repetitive motions such as wiping, sanitizing, and organizing.
WORKING CONDITIONS & WORK SCHEDULE:
• The role is based in a family room setting within the stadium, which may include exposure to loud noise, large crowds, and an active environment.
• Must be available to work at least 75% of scheduled home games, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
PAY RANGE:
$23.07 per hour. This is a part-time position not eligible for all company benefits.
